Cultural Practioner

I founded Ensibuko Arts Foundation (EAF), a non profit organisation and this has been my portal for cultural activism using dance. EAF is a space open to people of all walks of life, free of discrimination and I especially designed it to welcome individuals from low income communities that otherwise would not afford access to dance. My focus as a social artist, is to device the preservation of cultural spaces and practices within urban settings. I creatively plan, promote, organize and direct; Jam sessions, Dance/arts competitions, Arts exchange programs, workshops, Arts camps, community outreaches, Flash mobs, artistic residencies, Festivals, and other development centred programs. Over time, I have gained experience and exposure in the cultural sector.

I’m in position to work solely, put together a team or work with an existing team to;
– be consulted on effective creative youth development programs,
– develop artistic and creative activities concepts,
– organize and manage projects with little or no funding
– speak about arts and culture as a driving force for social change
