This is an international multi-technique dance program, performance puzzle, Residency, ‘hatchery’, incubator, laboratory and interactive platform aimed at promoting international artistic exchanges between dancers, dance researchers, curators, dance producers and choreographers. Participants are moved to explore the contemporary spirit and rituals of performativity in multicultural societies and cultures, as well as questions of social, political, spiritual and cultural understandings. The program consists of research, workshops, presentations, exchanges, artistic talks, lectures, tours and experimental performative/participatory works. Projects or processes developed in this program will be eligible for exhibition at Ensibuko Festival.
FEES AND SCHOLARSHIPS
If selected for the Programme, the recipients need to find a financial contribution (3000EUR ) in order to secure their participation. The fee covers program expenses including the artist participation, accommodation in jinja, and one meal/day. Paid by artists themselves or from funding institutions. The fee does not include travel, per diem, visa and insurance expenses! Ensibuko Arts Foundation will help you with all necessary documents and support for your fundraising and grant application plans on request.

For artists seeking scholarships, should demonstrate need. Scholarships will be awarded on a need basis and merit. The scholarship form should be part of your application.
